Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place a custom order?

To request a quote, please fill out a Custom Order Form. Once submitted, we will get back to you to confirm availability and order details.

How much notice is required for an order?

We typically book up months in advance, so the sooner the better. 2- 4 weeks prior to the event is recommended. Please note that we do not take any custom orders during the weeks of major holidays.

How do I pay for my custom order?

All orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date, due within 48 hours of receiving your invoice. Please note that your order is not secured, until your deposit is received. The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to your pick-up date. We accept e-transfers for all deposits and payments.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes.  Orders can be cancelled up to 21 days before the scheduled pick-up date for a full refund. Cancellations after 21 days deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit will be held as credit for future orders, and can be used within two years of your original order date. Holiday pre-orders are non-refundable.

Are the cookies peanut and tree nut-free ?

Our cookies do not contain nuts as an ingredient, however we cannot guarantee a nut-free product. We take every precaution to ensure the cookies do not come in contact with nuts, however we cannot deem ourselves a nut-free bakery.

How are the cookies packaged?

All cookies come individually heat-sealed in cellophane bags, and are packaged in boxes. For an extra special look, bows can be added for an additional $0.50 each.

How long do cookies stay fresh?

Cookies should be stored at room temperature and will stay fresh for up to 14 days. Our cookies prefer to be stored in cool, dry places, avoiding direct sunlight. Avoid storing cookies in the fridge, as this  may cause colour bleeding and condensation, and affect the designs. Cookies can be frozen in an air-tight container in the freezer. For best results, they should be removed from the freezer the night before they are needed, and left to thaw in the air-tight container before opening. This is an important step to prevent condensation from causing colour bleed. Enjoy!
